Terms of Service

By creating an account or using any MondoSoft product, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our products.

1. The service

MondoSoft operates a portfolio of micro-SaaS products for professionals, including but not limited to InvoiceWatchr, PaperPulse, and Elenkhos (each, a "Product"). Each Product has its own functionality, pricing, and feature set, documented on its respective product page. These Terms apply to all Products unless explicitly superseded by Product-specific terms presented at signup.

2. Subscription, billing, and refunds

• Each Product is offered as a recurring monthly subscription, billed via Stripe at the price shown on the Product's page at the time of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until you cancel.
• You may cancel at any time from the Product's settings page or via the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period and is not pro-rated.
• We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you were billed in error, contact us within 30 days at doctor.mondosoft@gmail.com.
• We may change pricing for new subscribers at any time. Existing subscribers will be notified by email at least 30 days before any price change affecting them.

3. Account responsibilities

• You are responsible for keeping your authentication credentials (passwords, bearer tokens) confidential. Anyone with your credentials can access your account.
• You may not share your account or use a single subscription on behalf of multiple people without separate subscriptions.
• You must provide a valid email address and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for the legality of any data you upload or process through our Products.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use our Products for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable law.
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, abuse the API, reverse-engineer the service, or circumvent authentication or access controls.
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense our Products or their output as your own.
• Use automated tools to scrape the service beyond the documented API.
• Upload content that is unlawful, infringes third-party rights, or contains malicious code.
• Use the service to send unsolicited commercial messages (spam) or harass others.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without prior notice.

5. Third-party content and integrations

Some Products fetch, process, or interact with content from third-party APIs and services (for example, arXiv, PubMed, and other academic feeds in PaperPulse; LLM providers such as Anthropic in AI-powered Products). We do not host, own, or warrant the accuracy of third-party content. Each Product links to or attributes original sources where applicable. We are not responsible for the availability, content, or licensing of upstream services.

6. Intellectual property

MondoSoft retains all rights to our software, branding, and original content. You retain ownership of any data you provide to our Products. By using a Product, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely as necessary to operate the service for you.

7. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform scheduled maintenance, ship updates, or experience outages from upstream providers. We are not liable for service interruptions.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

Our Products are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of outputs, merchantability, or non-infringement. AI-generated outputs (where applicable) may contain errors and should not be relied on as a substitute for professional advice.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MondoSoft's total liability arising out of or relating to your use of our Products is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Product's settings page (where available) or by emailing us. We may terminate your account for material violation of these Terms, non-payment, or where required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the relevant Product ceases immediately.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MondoSoft and its operators from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your misuse of our Products or your violation of these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which MondoSoft operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in that jurisdiction.

13. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to active subscribers; continued use of our Products after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
